Weight Loss The Hypnotic Way

In the western world we enjoy rerlative luxury compared to the rest of the planet but it comes at a price. There are more than sixty million Americans who are obese with the UK increasing in obesity numbers every year also. Our children are also following in our footsteps as child obesity has doubled in the States since 1980 and has gotten so out of hand in the UK that the government had to step in and ban certain foods from schools!

Developing a weight problem or being obese is much more than just an uncomfortable or embarrassing condition. It brings with it an increase in the risk of a great many diseases and health conditions, the best known of which are type 2 diabetes and heart disease. These are serious illness that can cause lifelong hardship or even lead to early death!

So how do we combat this? Well hypnosis is one solution! Hypnosis is a method that is used to effectively reprogram your beliefs and behaviours through direct contact with your subconscious mind. It is a method that dates back many thousands of years and it is still used today because it works. Through the use of hypnosis it is possible to reprogram these beliefs and behaviours relatively quickly and easily. It has consistently worked well with smoking cessation, nail biting, nervous disorders, eczema and other health and behavioural conditions. So it should come as no surprise that it can also be used to re-program your eating and exercise habits. The process is simple - a hypnotist will usually get the client to understand where their eating behaviour started and the reasons behind it. This type of behaviour always has its root in emotional issues that usually stem back many years, perhaps even to childhood. Then the client is guided into a very relaxed state of mind and body before post hypnotic suggestions are given to them which reprogram the subconscious mind which ultimately lead to a change in their habits.

Post hypnotic suggestions are extremely powerful and work very effectively to change your habits and former conditioning. The use of post hypnotic suggestions is of utmost importance when using hypnosis. A competent hypnotist will, however, dig into the emotional issues that cause the overeating and remove these before ever giving post hypnotic suggestions to create new habits.

The key then to any weight loss program is to first address the reasons why you are overeating and eliminate them. Hypnosis is the fastest and most efficient way of doing this. It is also the quickest way to retrain your mind into good eating and exercise habits. Try it, you may just like it!
