If your like me, then it doesn't take much to you to gain weight. My weight seems to go up and down like a yo-yo. Then, like me you may want to find the best way to lose weight. The fact is that weight loss isn't rocket science. We all know that we should diet and exercise. But what diet? And how much exercise? There are many pills and shakes out there for you to take, but how effective are they? Well hopefully I'll answer some of these questions. I used to believe that good diet and exercise alone would work to lose weight, and it did produce some results if I'm honest, but not as many as I would have liked. I started the routine in the spring, and so I wasn't really slim by the time the summer came around. I suppose that eating healthy and staying active is two of the best ways to lose weight because you can maintain it more easily, but sometimes you have to lose weight quickly. You might be getting your physique ready for that beach holiday, or trying to get in shape for you partner. Either way, shedding those extra pounds can be a great confidence boost. I was surprised to find out that the things I have heard about exercise weren't always true. I had always been told that cardiovascular exercise alone was the best way to lose weight, but this isn't the case. You have to keep your heart rate within the range to burn fat. Building muscle combined with cardiovascular exercise actually helps you to lose more weight and keep it off. People say that the diet pills are no good for losing weight. I have found that combined with good diet and exercise they can be effective at speeding up weight loss. It's best to research properly - they are always changing what you legally can and can't get. Weight loss shakes do help, as do many of the leading brand name pills. It is all a matter of finding the right combination of factors that work for you, and sticking with them.
